Fire Mountain is more than just a name — it's a tribute to resilience, rebirth, and the enduring spirit of cultivation. In 2020, the devastating Oak Fire swept through and consumed everything: my crops, my hard work, and the land I had poured my heart into for years. It was a moment of profound loss. But in the ashes of destruction, I found strength to rebuilt.

The fire forced me down to the valley floor in Ukiah, where growing was easier — long seasons, convenient resources. But it was in returning to the mountain that I truly discovered the value of this land's unique microclimate.

Fire Mountain sits above the Willits Valley floor but below the cloud’s inversion layer — safe from freezing temperatures, yet still below the snow line. It's far enough inland to avoid the heavy marine fog, but cool enough to bring out rich color and vibrant terpene profiles. The water here is pristine, and the sun exposure is ideal. It's the best growing climate I’ve ever worked with, and the difference in quality is undeniable. This mountain grows Fire!

The fire that once brought devastation now symbolizes transformation. It fueled my determination and gave rise to something stronger. Fire Mountain stands not only for the literal fire that changed everything, but for the metaphorical fire that drives me and the product I produce —as well as the mountain of challenges I’ve faced and overcome as a grower.

From those flames, my passion and purpose were reignited. Today, Fire Mountain is more than a brand — it’s a testament to perseverance, growth, and the unyielding spirit behind everything I do.
